　　Anna's mother

　　此用法為名詞所有格.在英語中,英語名詞可加"'s"來表示所有關(guān)系,稱之為該名詞的所有格.

　　(1)表示有生命的東西的名詞所有格在詞尾加"'s".若以"s", "es"結(jié)尾的名詞復(fù)數(shù)加"'".

　　Mary's bike

　　my father's room

　　Women's Day

　　the students' books

　　my friends' beds

　　(2)表示時間,距離,集體,城市,國家,自然現(xiàn)象,世界,天體和固定名詞等名詞的所有格.

　　today's newspaper

　　a week's time

　　the city's park

　　twenty minutes' walk

　　(3)并列名詞各自的所有格,在每個名詞后加"'s".表示諸多名詞"共有",則在最后一個名詞后加"'s".

　　Jim and Tom's room

　　Lucy's and Lily's shoes

　　Xiao Ming and Xiao Gang's mother

　　(4)名詞所有格所修飾的名詞,如上文提到過,再次出現(xiàn)時,該名詞可以省略.

　　My uncle is at Mr Black's (home).

　　I went to a butcher's (shop) and bought some meat.

　　work

　　(1)作動詞,意為"工作",后接賓語需加介詞.

　　I work in a hospital.

　　He works in a company.

　　My sister works in the TV station as a reporter.

　　I like to work with my friends.

　　(2)作名詞,不可數(shù)名詞,意為"工作",與job同義,但有區(qū)別:

　　job是可數(shù)名詞,指具體的某項工作,多雇傭的,招聘的,有報酬的工作,而work是不可數(shù)名詞,主要指體力和腦力勞動,表示一種抽象的概念.

　　It's a good job.

　　I'm busy today. I have a lot of work to do.

　　What's his job?

　　I find ______ for you in a TV station.

　　A a work B job C a job D works

　　give

　　作動詞,意為"給".構(gòu)成詞組

　　give sb sth = give sth to sb 意為"給某人某物"

　　Please give me a bottle of milk to me.

　　→ Please give a bottle of milk to me.

　　I gave many books to him

　　→I gave him many books.

　　當(dāng)give sb sth句型中sth為代詞時,只能用后一種結(jié)構(gòu):

　　give sth to sb,簡記口訣:名詞放兩邊,代詞放中間.

　　(誤) Please give me it.

　　(正) Please give it to me.
