　　句法作用：做主語、賓語、表語、定語、狀語和補(bǔ)語。

　　1.作主語。如：

　　To learn a foreign language is not easy. = It’s not easy to learn a foreign language.

　　注意：不定式短語作主語如果太長，常用it作形式主語，將不定式后置。

　　2. 作表語。如：

　　The important thing is to finish the work on time.

　　3. 作賓語，即：動詞+to do sth.或動詞+疑問詞+to do sth.。如：

　　We decided to visit the Great Wall this May holiday.

　　I don’t know what to do next.
